All Second Skin® seat covers are dry-cleanable and machine washable (wool cycle, mild detergent). Airbag Information The tear seams for the airbags built into the seat backs are created on each seat cover using a computer-controlled sewing machine. Each seam is automatically and precisely documented, which ensures that each seam is secure and has the same manufacturing values as the seats that have passed the VW safety tests. These tests are not required by law: For the safety of customers, Brandrup voluntarily subjects the seat covers to the same rigorous testing and manufacturing processes that apply to standard car seats. These tests are not conducted at just any testing facility, but rather at the same facility where standard seats are tested Headrest Information To fit the backrests with Second Skin seat covers, the headrests must first be removed. Release them by firmly pressing the release button located under the original seat cover. You must feel for the exact pressure point. It is located exactly 9 cm below the upper backrest seam vertically and, measured horizontally, from the center between the metal rods of the headrest The Second Skin ® delivery scope for each sleeping seat in the passenger compartment also includes the protective cover for the headrest in the “Sandwick” design
