Prats & Symington is a joint venture between the Symington’s and Bruno Prats, owner and winemaker of famous Bordeaux estate Château Cos d’Estournel for more than 30 years. The Symington family wished to ally its extensive knowledge of the Douro valley to the experience of Bruno Prat. Together, since 1999, they have produced wine in the Bordeaux spirit from grapes sourced from some the best parcels in Douro. View our selection. Vineyards Prats & Symington owns two prime Douro estates, Quinta de Roriz and Quinta da Perdiz. Both Quintas lie in the parish of São João de Pesqueira, near the village of Ervedosa. Roriz sits in a natural amphitheatre on the banks of the Douro, and Perdiz lies on a steep gradient on the other side of the same mountain Wine Produced Chryseia (top estate wine), Post Scriptum (second wine), Prazo de Roriz and Quinta de Roriz Vintage Port.
