Description A selection of our favourite Belgian beers showcasing the amazing breadth of flavours on offer. Some of these beers can be seriously weird so be warned! Nevertheless, they are all icons of Belgian beer culture so this is a great selection to see what is out there. Example box includes 2 x of: Boon Geuze – 7% 375ml Bottle – One of the best examples of a gueuze. This is a fresh, tart, zingy beer with a medium body and big fruit and cidery notes. Duchess de Bourgogne – 6.2% 33cl Bottle – A Belgian top fermented ale made from a blend of 8 to 18month old beers with careful maturation in oak casks. Flavours of cherry and oak mingle with a hint of balsamic vinegar. A true experience! Orval – 6.2% 33cl Bottle – One of the truly great trappist ales. Distinctive fruit notes come to the fore, balanced by pronounced hop character thanks to the brewery’s use of dry hopping. Lindemans Kriek – 3.5% 375ml Bottle – Easy drinking and intense, tart, sweet cherry lambic fruit beer. The classsic Belgian sour beer. De la Senne Zinnebir 6% 33cl Bottle – Medium-bodied blond with more fruity bitterness and a load of hops. Rohefort Triple 8.1% 33cl Bottle – Big and bold with strong blonde colour and spicey nose.
