Description ISLAND: Founded in 1995 at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. Arran say this whisky is first matured in traditional oak casks for “approximately 8 years” before being finished in carefully selected port barrels to give some lovely red fruit flavours and a bit of tannic bite. Cinammon-dusted apple crumble on the nose with orange spiked dried fruits on the palate and just a touch of vanilla sweetness.
